Through much of the Wheatbelt and Goldfields of Western Australia come August each year, when there has been enough rain, wildflowers blooms. Each particular habitat, and in many cases even each few weeks, produce their own varieties. There can be carpets or white, yellow, pink and blue, upon a wide range of flower shapes. Yet all of this appears in an environment, which in the midst of summer as the ground is baked hard and dry, it looks impossible for such delicacies to grow.
