Native to the dry, arid plains of Australia, particularly from Perth to Esperance. The long-lasting, conical blooms of the Mulla Mulla(Ptilotus exaltatus) appear soft and fuzzy. I loved the amazing contrast of the flowers against blue clouded sky and red earth.
