This image depicts a pair of emu footprints crossing a salt lake. You can observe the loss of definition in the tracks and the emus crossed a softer section of a lake, revealing the dark mud below the salty crust.
Often aspects of a landscape are not visible when you are driving past it. While drone photography has enabled us to capture landscapes using new technology, it is important to acknowledge that this aerial perspective has been documented by Aboriginal people for thousands of years. This image was created on Kepa Kurl Wudjari Country.
